Peter is a life-long New Yorker, having attended Columbia Grammar Prep School and the Riverdale Country School. He graduated with an undergraduate degree in Psychology, with honors, from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania and earned a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Hunter College in New York. His post-master’s training was taken at the Ackerman Institute, one of the most highly regarded therapy training facilities in the United States. He considers himself a practitioner of a new form of therapy, one that combines traditional psychodynamic psychotherapy principles with “here and now”? techniques that get results. Peter’s goal is to deconstruct and dismantle limiting beliefs at their source in order to help clients execute their potential and close the gap between where they are and where they’d like to be.

In addition to his thriving private therapy practice in Manhattan, Peter’s expertise in Executive Coaching, Outplacement, Training, Organizational Development, and Consulting has assisted numerous organizations, working in diverse industries around the world, to solve challenging and complex personnel issues. He partners with clients and candidates to develop integrated solutions to address relevant issues and cultivate talent so that people perform at their best.

Peter is an amateur trialthlete and a certified Scuba Divemaster. He is also involved in charitable work for the Boy’s Club of New York and is a supporter of MOMA and the Central Park Conservancy.
